Biography

Skinotechniki Ltd is a Cyprus-based scenic design and construction company founded in 1992 by architect and scenographer George Papadopoulos. Since its establishment, the company has specialized in the design and production of sets for theatre, television, film, exhibitions, museums, and large-scale events, offering a complete service from concept development through to construction and installation.

With a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and skilled craftsmen, Skinotechniki Ltd. has delivered projects both locally and internationally, collaborating with major organizations such as the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), UNICEF, and leading theatres and production companies worldwide.

George Papadopoulos, founder and CEO, studied architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, graduating with honours. He is a member of RIBA and ETEK and has developed an international career in scenography and design.

His work spans theatre, television, film, exhibitions, and large-scale events, with projects presented worldwide in collaboration with major organizations and broadcasters. He has received multiple distinctions, including the Cyprus State Award for Scenography, and international recognition for major productions such as the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008. His approach combines architectural thinking with artistic creativity, focusing on immersive design and innovative spatial experiences.
